Andy Edmonds, Search Science Architect at Adobe
At Adobe, Andy is responsible for driving user experience wins through algorithms and image search UX at http://stock.adobe.com as well as bringing search to your favorite design applications and the Adobe Creative Cloud. Starting his working career as a webmaster in 1995 and participating in the early blogging community, Andy has a huge breadth of expertise in UX, e-commerce, web analytics, online experimentation, online research, data-science, information retrieval, and software development methods.
Andy’s educational background includes a B.A. in Cognitive Psychology from Carnegie Mellon and a degree from Georgia Institute of Technology in Experimental Psychology & Cognitive Science.
Jaime DeLanghe, Senior Product Manager at Etsy
As a senior product manager at Etsy, Jamie leads the Search and Discovery product. She works on search, browse, product pages, shop pages, operational development, foundational policy changes, and internal tools management. She is especially interested in integrated search products and improving discoverability and has been a strong advocate for simple solutions. Her interests lie in scaling complex and multivariable systems elegantly.
Jamie has a B.A. in English from Wesleyan University.
Lukas Biewald, Founder and Chief Data Scientist at CrowdFlower
Lukas founded CrowdFlower in 2009 – the essential human-in-the-loop platform for data science teams. Prior to CrowdFlower, Lukas was a senior scientist within the Ranking and Management Team at Powerset, Inc., acquired by Microsoft in 2008. He led the Search Relevance Team for Yahoo! Japan after graduating from Stanford University with a B.S. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Computer Science.
